Nestlé and NBA sign major global marketing partnership
Nestlé and the NBA have announced a multi-year international marketing partnership that will make Nestlé brands Milo, Nescau, and Nesquik official partners of the NBA. Set to take effect on January 1, 2027, the agreement spans 21 markets across four continents and represents Nestlé’s largest international brand collaboration to date.
The partnership aims to engage fans and encourage youth basketball participation through various NBA platforms, including Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA, NBA Basketball School, and NBA Global Games. The strategy focuses on leveraging large-scale global platforms to maintain consistency across markets while ensuring local relevance.
By aligning with the NBA, Nestlé seeks to connect with younger, health-conscious generations, such as Gen Z and Gen Alpha, by promoting physical activity and the nutritional benefits of its cocoa and malted beverages. The collaboration will include retail promotions, branded packaging, and fan engagement experiences at NBA events.
