Nestlé India reports strong Q2 growth and increased profits
Nestlé India has reported significant growth for the second quarter of the 2026/27 financial year, with total sales rising 20.5% to INR 6,782.2 crore (€638.01 million). Profit after tax saw a substantial increase of 36.3%, reaching INR 1,026.8 crore (€96.59 million).
Growth was broad-based across multiple product categories. The confectionery segment, led by KitKat, achieved double-digit volume growth, while the pet food and Nestlé Professional divisions also reported double-digit increases. The company’s premiumisation strategy contributed to strong performance in the coffee portfolio, specifically for Nescafé and Nespresso.
Despite rising food inflation, the company maintained an EBITDA margin of 23.8%. Management attributed the results to increased investments in advertising and marketing, which rose by 46%, as well as improved operational efficiencies and expanded reach in rural areas and e-commerce channels.
