Net TV announces premiere of Argentine thriller series Sombras

Net TV has announced the premiere of “Sombras”, a new six-episode psychological thriller series scheduled to debut on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Written and directed by Julio Midú and Fabio Junco, the production is backed by BACS Producciones and Editorial Perfil.

Inspired by real events, the series follows a young woman, played by Mercedes Lambre, who searches for her missing sister. Her investigation leads her to an old mansion inhabited by three generations of a family marked by violence, obsession, and domestic secrets. The cast includes Nora Cárpena, Silvia Kutika, Pablo Sórensen, and Agustina Barraza.

Actress Agustina Barraza, who portrays Sofía—the protagonist's best friend—noted that the character attempts to protect the young woman from the dangers encountered during the investigation, though she eventually becomes entangled in the family's dark history.
