Netanyahu accused by Iranian media of planning false flag aircraft hijacking

Iranian state media outlet Press TV has reported allegations that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu planned a 'false flag' aircraft hijacking to implicate Iran and draw the United States into a new war. According to the report, which cites unnamed regional sources, the plan was discussed during a secret visit to the United Arab Emirates involving high-ranking military and intelligence officials. The alleged objective was to influence Israel's domestic political landscape ahead of upcoming parliamentary elections.

The allegations follow an incident involving Flydubai flight FZ1073, which was traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv. The aircraft made an emergency landing at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, after a reported struggle in the cockpit. Flydubai confirmed a cockpit altercation occurred, and authorities reported that both the captain and co-pilot sustained injuries. While the Iranian outlet links the flight incident to the alleged Netanyahu plot, no evidence has been provided to substantiate the claim, and there has been no immediate response from Israel, the UAE, or the United States.
