Netanyahu states toppling Iranian regime is a primary mission within reach

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Thursday that toppling the Iranian regime is a primary mission for his government, asserting that the goal is 'within reach.' Speaking at a Hebrew New Year event at the Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv, Netanyahu claimed the Iranian regime is currently 'teetering' and 'weaker than ever' as it fights for survival.

Netanyahu emphasized that Israeli security forces and intelligence agencies have developed integrated plans to undermine Tehran's authority. He further noted that Iran's refusal to attack Israel directly is due to their recognition of Israeli military power and determination.

In a related development, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned that any Iranian attack would result in a massive response, potentially targeting all Iranian military, civilian, and energy infrastructure. These statements come amid renewed U.S. airstrikes and economic pressure on Iran, and ahead of Israel's scheduled general elections on October 27.
