Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel will not pull back its forces from the Gaza Strip until Hamas is completely disarmed, rejecting a draft peace plan presented by the U.S.-backed Board of Peace. He stated that the draft sent by the White House is not Israel’s and that Israel has not agreed to it.

Israel continues to control roughly 60 % of Gaza territory. The Board of Peace has reiterated that any Israeli withdrawal will only occur after Hamas’s full disarmament. Qatar, Egypt and Turkey have condemned the ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza.

Hamas has indicated it accepts the Trump‑presented roadmap but conditions implementation on a full Israeli cease‑fire, withdrawal to the “Yellow Line” and progress on reconstruction. Israel has also tightened its rules of engagement, requiring the chief of the General Staff to approve attacks on Hamas fighters unless there is an immediate danger to soldiers.
