NetApp announces 2026 partner award winners and launches AI-focused Novus storage
NetApp has announced the winners of its North America Partner Award for fiscal year 2026 during the NetApp Insight 2026 event. The awards recognize partners who have successfully helped customers build intelligent data infrastructures using the NetApp platform to meet modern technological challenges.
Additionally, the company introduced NetApp Novus, a storage architecture designed specifically for the AI era. Aiming to reduce bottlenecks in AI factories, NetApp Novus claims to offer 100 TB/s of performance with unlimited horizontal scalability. The technology is intended to support large-scale GPU environments by separating metadata from the data path to improve efficiency. The initial versions of the product combine NetApp Novus Data Director software with Supermicro infrastructure and NetApp ONTAP data services via AFF A90 systems.
