NetEase and Everstone Studio announce Hutuo region for Where Winds Meet

NetEase Games and Everstone Studio have unveiled a major update for the Wuxia action-RPG Where Winds Meet, introducing the Hutuo war region scheduled for release on November 13. The expansion focuses on a conflict-driven storyline centered on the battle at the Zhongdu Bridge, exploring the concept of ‘Xia’—the martial arts code of justice and protection.

Key features of the update include new world bosses, such as Bingshen and the Khitan shaman Yelu Abuli, and a new ‘Dual Spears’ combat style choreographed by Yuen Woo-ping. The update also introduces two tactical tabletop modes: Horse Racing Chess and Jianghu Tactics.

Additionally, the developers are celebrating a global milestone, noting that the game has surpassed 100 million players worldwide. To mark the first global anniversary, the studio will offer various in-game rewards and a preview stream scheduled for November 2.
