NetEase releases Isles of Abyss expansion for Once Human

NetEase Games and Starry Studio have released the Isles of Abyss, a major free expansion for the survival multiplayer game Once Human. Available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Android, and iOS, the update introduces a vast new oceanic setting.

The expansion features five distinct maritime regions inspired by tropical environments, which have been altered by Stardust contamination. Players can explore these areas using a variety of customizable vessels, ranging from small rafts to a massive mobile sea base known as the Sea Fortress. The update also introduces underwater exploration for resources and treasures, as well as new characters like Malla, a captain capable of perceiving memories from the abyss.

Additionally, the update implements cross-play and cross-progression capabilities, allowing players to play across different platforms and carry their data between them.
