Netflix has released the complete four‑season historical drama *The Tudors* on its platform in France. The 38‑episode series, originally broadcast from 2007 to 2010 on Showtime, follows the reign of King Henry VIII and his turbulent marriages, political machinations and break with Rome.
The full series became available to French subscribers on 4 August 2026, featuring a cast that includes Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Henry VIII, Natalie Dormer as Anne Boleyn, and Sam Neill as Cardinal Wolsey. Created by Michael Hirst, the show was a co‑production between the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Ireland, and is now being streamed worldwide via Netflix.
The release gives French audiences access to the lavish production, court intrigue and religious upheaval that have kept the series popular fifteen years after its original run.
