Netflix secures $500 million deal to keep The Walking Dead franchise on its platform until 2032
Netflix and AMC Global Media have signed a five‑year co‑exclusive licensing agreement valued at about $500 million. The deal covers the original The Walking Dead series and its six spin‑offs—Fear the Walking Dead, Daryl Dixon, Dead City, The Ones Who Live, World Beyond and Tales of The Walking Dead—totaling 371 episodes. Rights are extended on Netflix through 2032, ending the previous 2027 expiration.
