Netflix and Mukesh Chhabra face complaint over inappropriate language

A formal complaint has been filed against Netflix India and casting director Mukesh Chhabra regarding the use of allegedly inappropriate and sexually suggestive language on the show ‘India’s Got Latent Season 2’.

The complainant, Anurag Shrivastav, alleges that during an episode featuring host Samay Raina and various panelists, Chhabra used objectionable statements that could have a serious social impact. The complaint specifically highlights the need to verify the authenticity and context of the remarks from the unedited recording.

Shrivastav has called for an investigation into Netflix’s role in allowing such content on the platform and has requested an inquiry into the conduct of Netflix India’s content chief, Monika Shergill, citing concerns for viewer dignity and the safety of children in the digital space.
