Netflix and other streaming services roll out new series ahead of August

Netflix added several new titles for U.S. and Brazilian viewers, including the second season of the Texas‑based ranch drama Ransom Canyon, the Mexican limited series I’m Not Afraid, and a highly rated South Korean horror thriller. The platform also highlighted other fresh releases as the month closes.

Other streaming services debuted multiple shows this week: Hulu launched the third season of Lioness and the crime drama Furious; Netflix premiered the limited series The Bombing of Pan Am 103 about the 1988 Lockerbie disaster; Prime Video released season 2 of the animated superhero series Batman: Caped Crusader and added new episodes of The Librarians: The Next Chapter. These releases span genres from spy thrillers to true‑crime and fantasy, expanding the streaming catalog into August.
