Netflix announces Brazilian series ‘Dom de Iludir’

Netflix has announced its new Brazilian series, ‘Dom de Iludir’, scheduled to premiere later this year. Directed by Mauro Mendonça Filho, the production is a blend of melodrama and suspense set among the luxury of Rio de Janeiro's elite.

The story follows art collector Lúcia Rossetti (Marieta Severo) and her daughter Maíra Rossetti (Alice Wegmann), whose complex and turbulent relationship intensifies when they cross paths with Irina (Nanda Costa). The series features a large ensemble cast, including José de Abreu and Felipe Camargo.

Produced by Conspiração for Netflix with Amaia as an associate producer, the series was created by Diane Maia and Mirna Nogueira. A teaser for the production was released, featuring a cover of Caetano Veloso’s song of the same name performed by singer Liniker.
