Netflix announces Mexican suspense series ‘El círculo’

Netflix has announced the upcoming release of ‘El círculo’, a Mexican suspense series scheduled to premiere on October 7, 2026. The production is an adaptation of the novel ‘Los corruptores’ by Jorge Zepeda Patterson.

The plot centers on four lifelong friends whose lives are upended by a web of blackmail and danger. The conflict is triggered by the leak of a video related to the murder of famous actress Pamela Dosantos, which threatens to expose long-held secrets.

The main cast includes Osvaldo Benavides as Jaime, Michel Brown as Tomás—the character responsible for releasing the video—and Zuria Vega as Amelia, the only woman in the central group of friends. Raúl Briones also joins the cast.
