Netflix announces new releases including thriller Susurran tu nombre

Netflix has announced a lineup of new releases for the week of August 24 to 30. A major highlight is the thriller “Susurran tu nombre” (The Whisper Man), an adaptation of Alex North’s bestselling book. Starring Adam Scott, Michelle Monaghan, and Robert De Niro, the film follows a widower and crime novelist whose life is upended when his son disappears. The plot involves a retired police officer and a connection to a serial killer known as “the whisper man.”

Other notable releases include the documentary “Al descubierto: el testimonio de Vince Young,” which tracks the rise and fall of the former NFL player. The documentary lineup also features “La muerte de la esposa del pastor,” exploring the 2024 death of Mica Miller, and “The Last Salute,” a documentary honoring 62 years of the MiG-21 fighter jet in the Indian Air Force.

Additional programming includes the fifth season of the musical competition “Rhythm + Flow: France,” the reality show “¿Tu mamá te conoce bien?”, the video podcast “Wishbone Kitchen” hosted by Meredith Hayden, and “Una esposa para Harry: el reencuentro.”
