Netflix Announces New Seasons for 'The Three-Body Problem' and 'Monster: The Story of Lizzie Borden

Netflix confirmed that it will continue adapting Liu Cixin’s science‑fiction trilogy, ordering additional seasons of the series “The Three‑Body Problem.” The platform plans to cover the three books – “The Three‑Body Problem,” “The Dark Forest,” and “Death’s End” – with production slated to begin, though no premiere date has been set.

The streaming service also released the official poster and set the launch date for the fourth season of its anthology “Monster,” which will dramatise the infamous 19th‑century murder case of Lizzie Borden. The season, titled “Monster: The Story of Lizzie Borden,” is scheduled to debut on 17 September 2026 and will star Ella Beatty as Borden, with Charlie Hunnam, Vicky Krieps, Rebecca Hall and others in supporting roles.
