Netflix announces release date for Jessica Chastain thriller Heartland

Netflix has announced the release date and first-look images for its upcoming mystery thriller, ‘Heartland’. The film is scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform on November 13, 2026.

Directed by Shana Feste, the musical thriller is set in Nashville and stars Jessica Chastain as Misty Jones, a retired country music legend. The plot follows Misty as she emerges from hiding to investigate the disappearance of her niece, Charlie, a rising star in the country music scene. In her search, Misty must navigate the dark underbelly of Nashville.

The cast includes Garrett Hedlund, Ross Lynch, Jennifer Nettles, John Hawkes, and Paul Sparks. Carter Faith, a country singer, makes her acting debut in the role of Charlie. Feste previously directed ‘Country Strong’ (2010).
