Netflix Announces Second Season of Little House on the Prairie

Netflix confirmed that its upcoming reboot of *Little House on the Prairie* will continue with a second season, even before the first season airs. The debut season is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on July 9 2026.

The renewal adds new characters to the series. Rachelle Lefevre will portray teacher Eva Beadle, Charlotte Sullivan will play Margaret Oleson, and Willa Dunn has been cast as the iconic Nellie Oleson. Existing cast members include Alice Halsey as Laura Ingalls, Skywalker Hughes as Mary Ingalls, Luke Bracey as Charles “Pa” Ingalls, and Crosby Fitzgerald as Caroline “Ma” Ingalls.

No official premiere date has been set for season 2, but production timelines suggest a 2027 release, with a possible window extending into 2028 depending on filming and post‑production schedules.
