Netflix announces September 2026 lineup featuring Black talent

Netflix has announced its September 2026 lineup featuring various projects highlighting Black talent. Notable releases include the supernatural mystery ‘Gothika’ starring Halle Berry and ‘Keanu’, featuring Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key. The biopic ‘Straight Outta Compton’ is also scheduled for the month.

A significant addition to the schedule is the debut of ‘A Different World’ on September 24. This sequel follows Deborah Wayne, the daughter of original characters Dwayne Wayne and Whitley Gilbert, as she navigates her own college journey at Hillman College. The production includes several returning cast members from the original series.
