Netflix announces ‘Sunshine Girls’ and updates on ‘Minimum Wage’
Netflix has announced several updates to its young adult programming slate, headlined by the upcoming series ‘Sunshine Girls’. Produced by digital studio Brat TV, the coming-of-age series is scheduled to premiere in December 2026. The show follows Olivia, a New York City native who moves to a California suburb following her parents' separation, where she forms an unlikely friendship with Taylor and Riley.
Additionally, Netflix provided updates on ‘Minimum Wage’, an ensemble workplace series from American High. The series, which is based on American High shorts from YouTube and other social media platforms, has added Randall Park to its cast. Set in a chaotic local pizza shop, the show will focus on teenage employees navigating the challenges of the service industry.
Other recent announcements from the streamer include the supernatural and gothic romance series ‘Sid & Zoey’, created by Jon Kasdan and John Shiban in collaboration with Blumhouse Atomic Monster and Bad Robot.
