Netflix announces true-crime docuseries on Mica Miller death

Netflix has announced the release of ‘Death of the Pastor’s Wife’, a three-part true-crime docuseries scheduled to premiere on August 26, 2026. The series examines the life and sudden death of Mica Miller, the wife of John-Paul Miller, a pastor at Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The documentary will utilize firsthand accounts from friends and family, alongside never-before-seen footage, to explore allegations of control and manipulation. It aims to investigate the events leading up to Mica Miller’s death in 2024, which was ruled a suicide after her body was discovered in a North Carolina state park.

The series arrives amid ongoing legal developments involving John-Paul Miller. While he has not been charged in connection with his wife’s death, he was indicted in December 2025 for cyberstalking and making false statements to federal investigators. He has pleaded not guilty to those charges.
