Netflix begins filming new Brazilian comedy series

Netflix has announced the start of filming in São Paulo for its new Brazilian comedy series, ‘Casamento Aberto e Outras Coisas que Não Existem’. The production stars Camila Pitanga and Sérgio Guizé.

The series explores the modern challenges and contradictions of romantic relationships through the lens of a couple that decides to enter an open relationship, dealing with new desires and unexpected situations. The project is written by Alexandre Machado, known for the successful series ‘Os Normais’, and directed by José Alvarenga Jr.

The cast also includes Heloísa Périssé, Samantha Schmütz, Xamã, and Otávio Müller. The production is a collaboration between Netflix and Manas Filmes. A release date has not yet been announced.
