Netflix Begins Filming Supernatural Drama 'Pagans' in New York, Fall 2026

Netflix will start production on the original supernatural drama "Pagans" in New York on 26 October 2026. The series is created and co‑written by showrunner Joshua Zetumer and follows a widowed father caring for his troubled teenage daughter Alice, whose relationship turns increasingly sinister.

The production is being handled by Goddard Textiles with executive producers Drew Goddard and Sarah Esberg, and it is overseen by Netflix studio head Nne Ebong. A casting call for a 12‑ to 13‑year‑old actress to play Alice closed in June 2026. The six‑month shoot is slated to wrap early 2027, with a likely release in late 2027 or the first half of 2028.
