Netflix casts Nana in new crime thriller series ‘Maderesa’

Netflix has confirmed the production of a new series titled ‘Maderesa’, featuring a lead cast including Nana, Kim Dan, and Jung Gun-ju.

The thriller follows Maderesa (played by Nana), a cold-blooded criminal psychologist and professor who investigates unsolved murder cases. She is assisted by her teaching assistant, Park Seol (played by Kim Dan), who hides secrets behind a pure exterior, and her long-time friend Yu Aram (played by Jung Gun-ju), a prosecutor who remains wary of Park Seol. As the trio delves deeper into the investigations and confronts criminals, they encounter unexpected emotions and long-hidden truths.

The series will be directed by Jang Young-woo, known for ‘Queen of Tears’ and ‘Bulgasal’, with a screenplay by Kwon So-ra and Seo Jae-won, the writers behind ‘Donggung’ and ‘The Guest’.
