Netflix has officially confirmed a fourth season of the popular Polish comedy series ‘1670’. The announcement was made through an unconventional promotional campaign involving a symbolic egg that had been undergoing an ‘incubation’ countdown since August 5.

Actor Bartłomiej Topa, who portrays the character Jan Paweł Adamczewski, revealed the news by emerging from the egg in character. While the third season saw a decrease in online engagement compared to previous installments, the series remains one of the most engaging productions for Polish audiences according to media monitoring reports.
