Netflix debuts Brazilian reality show ‘Sua Mãe Te Conhece?’
Netflix is launching a new Brazilian reality competition titled ‘Sua Mãe Te Conhece?’ (Mom Knows Best?), hosted by Claudia Raia. The series features nine mothers and their adult children in a unique social experiment.
In the show, mothers live in a luxury residence where they observe their children from a distance. The children, unaware of their mothers' presence, believe they are participating in a separate reality show called ‘A República’ to win 250,000 reais. The mothers must bet on how their children will react to various challenges to win a grand prize of up to 1 million reais.
The seven-episode season will be released in two parts: the first four episodes debut on August 26, followed by the final three episodes on September 2.
