Netflix launches Harlan Coben's Myron Bolitar series
Netflix has begun production on a series adaptation of Harlan Coben's Myron Bolitar novels. Filming started this week in New York's Upper East Side. The show stars Colin Woodell as former basketball star‑turned‑sports‑agent Myron Bolitar, with KJ Apa playing his best friend Win Lockwood and Diane Guerrero as his assistant Esperanza Diaz. The cast also includes Sam Worthington, Britt Lower and a roster of supporting actors. The series will draw from the first two Bolitar books, allowing for multiple seasons if the story permits.
Coben’s long‑standing partnership with Netflix, begun in 2018 with a $150 million deal, has already produced twelve limited‑series adaptations of his work. The new Myron Bolitar series marks the first ongoing series based on his novels, expanding the author’s presence on the streaming platform.
