Netflix develops MotoGP-themed heist thriller film

Netflix is developing a fictional heist thriller film set within the world of MotoGP. Moving away from the documentary style seen in its Formula 1 series, this project is described as a high-octane action blockbuster, drawing comparisons to the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise.

The plot follows a group of motorcycle thieves who steal high-value antiques across the globe. To stop them, Interpol recruits a former MotoGP prodigy, played by Alan Ritchson. The story introduces a personal twist when the protagonist discovers the mastermind behind the criminal organization may be his younger brother, whom he believed was dead.
