Netflix documentary explores Mike Tyson's life and history

Netflix is set to release ‘Tyson’, a four-part documentary directed by Floyd Russ, which explores the life and career of boxer Mike Tyson. The series traces his journey from a difficult childhood in New York to becoming the youngest heavyweight champion in history, covering his meteoric rise, various controversies, and professional setbacks.

The documentary includes footage and interviews regarding Tyson’s long-standing relationship with Donald Trump. In an interview conducted in the Oval Office, Trump discussed his friendship with Tyson, which dates back to 1988 when Trump reportedly paid $11 million to host Tyson’s heavyweight fight against Michael Spinks. Trump described the investment as worthwhile, noting that Tyson was the most prominent figure in the world at the time.

The series also examines personal challenges faced by Tyson, including his legal battles and his marriage to Robin Givens.
