Netflix expands August 2026 anime slate with multiple Fate titles and new originals

Netflix is adding a large batch of anime titles to its catalogue for August 2026. The schedule includes several installments from the Fate franchise—Fate/Zero, the Fate/Grand Order films and the complete Heaven’s Feel trilogy—plus the new film The Ribbon Hero. Simulcasts of Thunder 3, Chainsmoker Cat, One Piece’s Elbaph‑Arc and Sparks of Tomorrow will also continue with fresh episodes.

In parallel, the series "Smoking Behind the Supermarket With You" has launched, depicting a middle‑aged salaryman who meets a young supermarket employee behind the store to smoke. The 12‑episode mini‑series is available on Crunchyroll and on Netflix in regions outside the United States, offering a slower‑paced romance that contrasts with the more overtly comedic "Chainsmoker Cat".
