JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fans protest new Steel Ball Run ending theme

Fans of the anime series ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run’ have expressed significant dissatisfaction following the debut of the new ending theme, ‘Shinukaikiruka’, performed by Yuki Chiba.

The controversy stems from two primary issues. First, many viewers noted a departure from the franchise's long-standing tradition of using licensed Western music for its ending sequences, such as tracks by Yes, The Bangles, and Savage Garden. Instead, the new theme is an original Japanese track.

Second, the song's production has drawn scrutiny due to the involvement of producer Lukasz Gottwald, also known as Dr. Luke. His involvement has reignited discussions regarding his past legal disputes with singer Kesha.

As Netflix continues the release of the series' second and third stages, fans have been actively targeting the streaming service's social media accounts to demand a change to the outro.
