Netflix features new Nordic crime mini-series

Netflix is hosting several new Nordic crime mini-series that focus on suspenseful, short-form storytelling.

One such series, ‘Blood Sacrifice’, is a five-episode Swedish thriller created by George Kay. The plot follows a father and son who must set aside years of resentment to work together to catch a brutal killer targeting police officers. The series features Peter Andersson and Jakob Oftebro.

Another recent addition is the Norwegian mini-series ‘Petits meurtres entre voisins’ (Small Murders Between Neighbors), adapted from Saskia Noort’s 2013 novel. Spanning seven episodes, the story follows a woman named Karen who moves to Bergen. After a fire in a luxury villa results in a death, she discovers that the seemingly tight-knit community is built on lies and secrets.
