Netflix highlights recent film successes and upcoming releases

Netflix has seen significant engagement with several diverse film titles. The shark thriller Thrash achieved 37 million views within its first three days, making it the platform's most successful horror film debut, despite receiving mixed critical reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

In contrast, the upcoming release Blood & Sinners, directed by Ryan Coogler and starring Michael B. Jordan, is expected to draw high interest. The film previously won four Academy Awards in 2026 and received 16 nominations, setting a new record for the horror genre.

Additionally, the drama Remarkably Bright Creatures, based on the bestselling novel by Shelby Van Pelt, has also performed well on the platform. The film follows a cleaning lady at an aquarium and her connection with an octopus, earning positive reception from audiences.
