Netflix hires former Disney executive Naomi Bulochnikov-Paul

Netflix has appointed Naomi Bulochnikov-Paul as Vice President of Series Communications. Bulochnikov-Paul, a veteran of the media industry, will officially begin her new role on October 18, reporting to Netflix Chief Communications Officer Dani Dudeck.

In her new position, Bulochnikov-Paul will oversee communications for Netflix’s extensive television portfolio. This includes scripted and unscripted series, documentary series, and emerging content such as sports, games, podcasts, and creators. Her remit also extends to consumer products and experiences, including Netflix House.

Bulochnikov-Paul joins Netflix immediately following her departure from Disney Entertainment Television on September 30. During her eight-year tenure at Disney, she held various leadership roles, including EVP of Communications for Disney Entertainment Television, where she managed communications for brands such as ABC Entertainment, FX, Hulu Originals, and National Geographic Content. Insiders indicate her departure from Disney was voluntary and unrelated to the company’s ongoing internal restructuring.
