Netflix launches Indian reality series 'Lock Upp' hosted by Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan

Netflix, in partnership with Balaji Telefilms, is debuting a new Indian captive‑reality show called "Lock Upp: Sach ya Sazaa." The series will feature 14 well‑known personalities locked inside a controlled environment, cut off from the outside world and subjected to challenges, punishments and weekly eliminations over six weeks. Hosts Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan act as “Jailers,” overseeing the contestants as they navigate shifting alliances, difficult decisions and personal revelations.

The programme, billed as an experiment in truth versus public perception, premieres on 27 June and will stream new episodes from Saturday to Wednesday at 8:00 PM local time. The format emphasises “no filters, no retakes,” aiming to reveal the contestants’ true selves under pressure.
