Netflix nears completion of 2026 NFL broadcast talent roster

Netflix has nearly finalized its NFL broadcasting roster for the 2026 season, with approximately 90% of talent hires completed. The streaming service is expanding its NFL coverage from two games to five, including a regular-season matchup between the Rams and 49ers in Melbourne, Australia.

During the Melbourne broadcast, former Carolina Panthers linebacker and Hall of Famer Luke Kuechly received significant praise from viewers for his debut as a color analyst alongside play-by-play announcer Noah Eagle. Kuechly was noted as a “natural in the booth” despite his limited previous broadcasting experience.

The 2026 Netflix NFL slate will also feature studio coverage hosted by Elle Duncan, with analysts including Michael Irvin, Nick Foles, and Clay Matthews III. Other personnel include sideline reporter MJ Acosta-Ruiz, rules analyst Terry McAulay, and Tom Pelissero. Netflix is also looking toward future rights, including interest in the men’s World Cup and plans to broadcast the Women’s World Cup exclusively in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada starting next summer.
