Netflix One Piece Season 3 casting and production updates

Netflix has provided updates regarding the third season of its live-action adaptation of 'One Piece', titled 'One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta'. The upcoming season will focus on the Alabasta saga, following the Straw Hat crew as they enter the desert kingdom to face a brewing civil war.

German actor Emilio Sakraya has been cast in a recurring role as Koza, a character central to Princess Vivi’s storyline. Other new cast members include Omid Abtahi as Toto, Jamie Ward as Pell, and Nabeel Khan as Chaka. Returning leads include Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, and Charithra Chandran as Princess Vivi.

Iñaki Godoy, who portrays Luffy, revealed that he takes a highly proactive approach to his role. He noted that he frequently creates PowerPoint presentations to pitch character and story ideas to showrunners Joe Tracz and Ian Stokes, drawing from his deep interest in the original manga.
