Netflix orders Manifest spin-off Arrivals: A New Manifest Mystery

Netflix has ordered a spin-off to the sci-fi drama series ‘Manifest’ titled ‘Arrivals: A New Manifest Mystery’. The new series will take place within the same universe as the original show, which concluded its fourth season on the streaming platform after previously airing on NBC.

Created by Jeff Rake, the spin-off will feature a new cast and storyline. The plot centers on a mysterious plane that makes an emergency landing in Denver, with passengers emerging without any memory of their identities or origins. A young social worker and a Homeland Security agent will team up with the passengers to investigate the incident and prevent a potential catastrophe.

Production is being handled by Warner Bros. Television, with Rake returning as co-creator and co-showrunner alongside Margaret Easley and Laura Putney. Executive producers include Robert Zemeckis and Jack Rapke of Compari Entertainment. While a premiere date has not been announced, the original series has garnered over 130 million views on Netflix since early 2023.

Additionally, Netflix has commissioned a fourth season of the comedy series ‘Tires’, starring and co-created by Shane Gillis.
