Netflix partners with IMG for FIFA Women’s World Cup broadcasts

Netflix has selected IMG as its official production partner to manage broadcasting rights for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in the United States and Canada. The partnership covers the 2027 tournament, which will be held in Brazil, as well as the 2031 edition.

IMG will oversee the production of all 64 matches, including over 100 hours of bespoke studio programming. The coverage will feature exclusive commentary teams and talent. In the United States, broadcasts will be available in English and Spanish, while Canadian viewers will have access to English and French services.

This initiative represents Netflix’s most ambitious live sports production to date. IMG will also provide production support for the tournament’s official Final Draw scheduled for December 11, 2026.
