Netflix releases Argentine comedy-drama Norma

Netflix has released the Argentine comedy-drama Norma, directed by Santiago Giralt. Starring Mercedes Morán, the film follows a 64-year-old woman whose structured life is disrupted when her longtime domestic employee resigns.

The departure triggers a personal crisis, leading the protagonist to question her marriage, family dynamics, and long-held social expectations. Through a new connection with a psychologist named Judith, Norma begins to explore personal experiences she had previously neglected. The film, based on the novel ‘Señales de humo’, is a co-production between Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay.
