Netflix releases K-drama 'Our Sticky Love' starring Jung Hae-in

Netflix has released the South Korean series "Our Sticky Love" (Acaramelados), a production that blends romantic comedy, melodrama, thriller, and noir elements. Directed by Kim Jang-han and written by Mo Ji-hye, the drama stars Jung Hae-in and Ha Young.

The plot centers on Go Eun-sae, an elite prosecutor who suffers from memory loss and wakes up in the village of Yeot. There, she meets Jang Tae-ha, a boxer and former gangster who claims to be her boyfriend. The title uses a play on the word "yeot," a traditional Korean taffy, as a metaphor for the sweet yet sticky bond between the protagonists.

Director Kim Jang-han noted that the inclusion of criminal drama elements serves to highlight the romantic actions and risks taken by the male lead. Actor Jung Hae-in described his character as a representation of pure love, capable of risking his life for his partner.
