Netflix releases miniseries on Pan Am Flight 103 Lockerbie bombing

Netflix has released a six-episode crime miniseries titled ‘La bomba sul volo Pan Am 103’ (The Bomb on Pan Am Flight 103), which reconstructs the 1988 terrorist attack over Lockerbie, Scotland. The series focuses on the investigation following the explosion of Pan Am Flight 103, which was traveling from London Heathrow to New York.

The tragedy resulted in the deaths of 270 people, including 259 on board and 11 on the ground. The production follows the collaborative efforts of Scottish detectives and FBI special agents as they navigate a complex investigation involving vast amounts of forensic evidence across multiple countries.

Created by Jonathan Lee and directed by Michael Keillor, the series features a cast including Connor Swindells, Patrick J. Adams, Merritt Wever, and Eddie Marsan. The production involves BBC, ITV Studios, and MGM Television.
