Netflix releases new horror anthology Socorro and animated film As Ovelhas Detetives

Netflix has expanded its catalog with new content targeting different demographics, including the Mexican horror anthology 'Socorro' and the animated film 'As Ovelhas Detetives'.

'Socorro', directed by Rodrigo Ugalde and Andrés Beltrán, is an adaptation of short stories by the late Argentine author Elsa Bornemann. Produced by VIS (a Paramount division) in partnership with Estudios Telemexico, the series follows an anthology format. Each of the eight episodes, ranging from 23 to 29 minutes, presents independent supernatural tales involving young protagonists facing various mysteries and moral dilemmas.

'As Ovelhas Detetives' is an animated mystery film centered on a group of sheep attempting to solve the murder of their shepherd. The production features a voice cast including Patrick Stewart, Brett Goldstein, and Bry, alongside human cast members such as George Hardy, Lydia Harbottle, and Nicholas Braun.
