Collision Course reaches number one on Netflix global film charts

The Spanish heist thriller “Collision Course” (original title “Colisión”), directed by Daniel Sánchez Arévalo, has become the most-watched film on Netflix globally following its October 30 release. According to FlixPatrol data, the film reached the top of the global charts, outperforming several horror titles during the Halloween period. It also saw significant success in various markets, including Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, Ukraine, and the Netherlands.

Set in Madrid during the 2013 economic crisis, the film follows a group of robbers who target a bank, only for a car accident to trigger a chain of unpredictable events and reveal deep-seated secrets among the characters. The production, handled by Bambú Producciones, features a cast including Laia Costa, Karra Elejalde, Luis Zahera, Tamar Novas, Álvaro Cervantes, and Lluís Homar.

The film has sparked viewer discussion due to its non-linear narrative, which explores different outcomes based on which member of the group dies during the heist's chaotic aftermath.
