Netflix releases teaser for WWII drama ‘The Mosquito Bowl’

Netflix has released the official teaser for ‘The Mosquito Bowl’, a World War II drama directed by Peter Berg. Based on the bestselling book by Pulitzer Prize winner Buzz Bissinger, the film tells the true story of four prominent American college football stars who enlisted in the Marines following the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The narrative follows these athletes as they prepare for the invasion of Okinawa in 1945. Amidst the preparations for war, the men participate in a legendary football game known as the ‘Mosquito Bowl’, played between Marine regiments. For many of the participants, this would be the final game of their lives.

The film features a cast including Nicholas Galitzine, Bill Skarsgård, Ray Nicholson, and Tom Francis. ‘The Mosquito Bowl’ is scheduled for a limited theatrical release in the United States on October 30, before its exclusive streaming debut on Netflix on November 25.
