Netflix releases trailer for Unabomber true-crime film
Netflix has released a trailer for its upcoming true-crime thriller, ‘Unabomber’, scheduled to begin streaming on September 25. The film is inspired by the life of Ted Kaczynski, a former Harvard mathematics prodigy who became a domestic terrorist responsible for a bombing campaign between 1978 and 1995 that killed three people and injured approximately 24 others.
Starring Jacob Tremblay as Kaczynski, the film also features Russell Crowe as Professor Henry Murray, a psychologist who conducted controversial experiments on Kaczynski during his student years. The narrative explores the connection between Kaczynski’s academic past and his eventual reclusive life in a Montana cabin, where he planned his attacks. Shailene Woodley portrays FBI agent Joanne Miller, who leads the manhunt to bring the case to a close.
