Netflix renews Canadian teen drama Crew Girl for season 2

Netflix has officially renewed the Canadian teen drama “Crew Girl” for a second season. The announcement follows the series' successful debut on September 10, 2026, which saw the show enter the platform's global Top 10.

The first season follows Teagan Tao, played by Miku Martineau, as she joins a male rowing team as a coxswain after moving to Eagles Cove. While the season concluded with the team winning a medal at the Haverford Cup, several plot threads remain unresolved, including the dismissal of Coach Hayden, Josh Regis's upcoming heart surgery, and a warning from Teagan's nemesis.

Lead actress Miku Martineau expressed excitement for the continuation, noting that the new season will explore character development, romances, and more drama. While a specific release date has not been confirmed, production is estimated to arrive in late 2027 or early 2028.
