Netflix announces season 2 of reality series Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa

Netflix has announced the second season of the Indian reality series ‘Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa’. The show, produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, and Manisha Sharma, follows a jail-themed competition format where celebrities face challenges and personal confrontations.

Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan are confirmed to return as the series’ jailers. While a specific premiere date and the new lineup of contestants have not yet been disclosed, the announcement follows a highly successful first season that reportedly generated over 5 billion views across social media and word of mouth.

Monika Shergill, VP of Content for Netflix India, noted that the first season became ‘appointment viewing overnight,’ serving as a space for celebrities to address personal topics and past experiences. The upcoming season aims to build on this engagement with new personalities and surprises.
