Netflix reveals trailer for ‘Aquel’, biographical series about Raphael

Netflix has released the official trailer and new images for ‘Aquel’, an eight-episode biographical series chronicling the life of the renowned singer Raphael. The production explores five decades of the artist's career, tracing his journey from humble beginnings in post-war Spain to his international success on global stages including Madrid, Las Vegas, Moscow, Paris, and Acapulco.

The series aims to portray the man behind the myth, covering his greatest hits, personal passions, and internal conflicts. Javier Morgade portrays the young Raphael, while Carlos Santos depicts the artist in his maturity. The cast also includes Francesco Carril, Natalia Varela, Pepa Aniorte, and Manolo Caro.

‘Aquel’ is produced by DLO Producciones in association with Caracol Televisión. The series is scheduled to premiere in Spain and Latin America on October 9.
